One. Welding methods for stainless steel composite pipes
Manual arc welding (MMA)
Manual arc welding is a welding method that uses manual operation of arc welding rods to perform welding. During manual arc welding, an electric arc is generated between the welding rod and the workpiece, locally heating the rod and workpiece to a melting state. The molten metal at the end of the welding rod and the molten base metal merge to form a molten pool. As the arc moves forward, the liquid metal in the molten pool gradually cools and crystallizes, forming a weld.

Argon arc welding
Stainless steel welded pipes require full penetration welds without oxide inclusions, with minimal heat-affected zone. Tungsten inert gas shielded arc welding exhibits good adaptability, resulting in high welding quality and good weld penetration. Its products are widely used in industries such as chemical, nuclear, and food processing.
II. Methods and Techniques for Connecting Stainless Steel Pipes
Stainless steel pipe connections can be made in various ways, with common types including compression, snap-fit, socket-lock, expansion, threaded, butt welding, socket-lock flange connections, and derivative connection methods that combine welding with traditional connections. These connection methods vary in their principles and, consequently, their application ranges, but most are easy to install and offer reliable performance. The sealing rings or gaskets used in these connections are typically made from materials such as silicone, nitrile rubber, and TPE rubber, which meet national standards, ensuring user peace of mind.
Stainless steel pipe clamp connection steps:
1、Cutting: Cut the pipe to the required length. When cutting, avoid applying excessive force to prevent the pipe from becoming deformed.
2、Remove Burrs: After cutting the pipes, ensure all burrs are removed to prevent injury to the sealing ring.
3、Marking: To ensure complete insertion of the steel pipe into the pipe fitting opening, markings must be made on the pipe end to indicate the insertion length.
4、Installation: The sealing ring should be correctly installed in the U-shaped groove of the fitting, and the pipe should be inserted into the fitting's opening. Wait for the fitting to be pressed together.
5、Compression: During compression, the protruding parts of the pipe fittings should be placed within the concave grooves of the mold, and the opening of the fitting should be kept perpendicular to the pipe axis.
6. Inspection: After pressing, use appropriate measuring tools to check the dimensions of the pressed joint.
