As shown in the picture, we designed a waterproof trough at the rubber coated  area of the fitting. The zinc layer is removed here to make the rubber coating more secure and less likely to fall off. Such a design has the advantages of low cost and good usage effect.

The surface of the holes in the crimping area of this fitting is processed into fine threads. When we conduct mechanical tensile load tests on insulators, this design significantly increases the friction between the hardware and the FRP rods, thereby enhancing the mechanical properties of the insulators
