Coilable Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipes (RTP) are composite pipes featuring a medium transmission layer made of polyethylene, cross-linked polyethylene, or heat-resistant polyethylene. The reinforcement layer, crafted from unidirectional polyester industrial filaments, aramid fibers, fiberglass, or steel wires (ropes), is combined with a thermoplastic matrix resin. These materials are spirally wound in alternating directions and heated to form a mesh-like structure. The outer protective layer consists of polyethylene or heat-resistant polyethylene. The entire structure is cohesively bonded and formed through extrusion, resulting in a continuous and robust pipe.
