Product Description
Polyethylene gas pipes are the preferred gas distribution piping product,Polyethylene gas pipes are lightweight, non-corrosive, available in coil lengths, and easy to install by heat fusion or mechanical fittings. For these reasons, PE pipes have been proven reliable, durable, and have been in use since the 1960's.
Donghong pipe industry produced the PE pipe specially for mine use with material of PE100-RC, the material is an updation of PE100 with further improvement of material properties towards high MRS (Minimum Required Strength), high SCG (Slow Crack Growth), high RCP (Rapid Crack Propagation), high melt strength LS. For gas transfer is it anti-corrosion, high flexbility and low medium loss.
Connection Method
Anti-corrosion
Polyethylene (PE) is an inert material that is resistant to a wide range of chemical media except for a few oxidizing agents, so there is no need to worry about the corrosive effects of soil and water quality.
Good connection security
Pipes are mainly connected by heat fusion butt joints and electrofusion, realizing the integration of joints and pipe materials, and the strength of the interface is higher than the strength of the pipe body itself.
High Flexibility
Pipe elongation at break ≥ 500%, with high flexibility, very strong ability to use the uneven settlement of the soil, superior seismic performance.
Good impact resistance
Under the low-temperature environment, -20 ºC -40 ºC can be used normally, the external impact is not easy to crack, cracks and other damage.
Good cracking resistance
Excellent resistance to rapid crack propagation (RCP) and slow crack growth (SCG) transfer resistance, which effectively prevents pipe cracking and crack propagation in low-temperature areas and in case of installation damage.
Low friction coefficient
Smooth inner wall, smooth surface and non-adhesive properties ensure pipeline conveying capacity and also reduce pressure loss in the pipeline.
