Under rigorously controlled tension, the prepped material is seamlessly wound around a pipe core, leveraging the precise friction between rollers and mandrel. As the winding advances, this tension ensures that each prepreg layer is meticulously tight and uniformly applied. Upon reaching the desired thickness, the tube undergoes a cooling and shaping phase with cold rollers, which is vital for setting the initial form.
The final and essential phase of the process is curing. Placed in a curing furnace, the semi-formed tube is subjected to a meticulous thermal treatment. This critical stage solidifies the resin, firmly integrating the carbon fiber layers, thereby bestowing the tube with its final strength and definitive shape. once curing concludes, the core mold is extracted, unveiling a premium quality carbon fiber wound pipe.
