One, How to install inner wall bricks
1、Mix the adhesive.
Before applying the bonding agent, the interior wall bricks should not be wet. However, loose materials on the brick surface should be removed using a wire brush, and any loose dust should be wiped away with a damp cloth. Then, add water or emulsion to the mixing bucket according to the manufacturer's recommended ratio and mix until the bonding agent is uniformly mixed and free of lumps.
2、Wall surface preparation
Apply the prepared adhesive evenly onto the substrate using a straight-edged trowel with the appropriate notch depth. Then, spread the adhesive layer in uniform strips along the grout lines of the tiles. This ensures that the adhesive thickness and quantity are controlled, and that the tile bonding area is more uniform.
3、Interior wall tiles within the same batch
Before laying interior wall tiles, apply a thin layer of adhesive to the back of the tiles as well. While this double-layer method requires more materials and time, it ensures the quality and durability of the tile installation.
4、Install interior wall tiles

During the curing time of the adhesive, place the prepared wall tiles in their correct position, and gently rub them vertically to remove any air trapped underneath. After the tiles are properly placed, lightly tap them with a rubber mallet, and use appropriately sized cross-shaped leveling tools to adjust the surface flatness and the straightness of the joints.
5、Cleaning/Joint Filling
The tiled surface should be cleaned promptly, especially to remove any remaining adhesive. once the adhesive has hardened, it becomes difficult to remove. After cleaning, the tiled surface should be immediately marked to isolate it and prevent contamination or disturbance. once the adhesive is completely dry, it can be filled with grout.
II. important considerations for installing interior wall tiles
1、Inspect the product
Before formally applying interior wall tiles, please verify that the product number, color, and dimensions indicated on the packaging are consistent. Also, ensure proper storage and handling. If you find any discrepancies or dissatisfaction, immediately cease construction and promptly report the issue to your distributor, requesting on-site inspection and resolution negotiation.
2. Use products of the same size/color.
When tiling the same plane, it is important to use products with the same color and dimensions, especially when using different products together. Maintaining dimensional consistency is particularly crucial in such cases.
3. Clean the surface opposite the wall.
Before applying interior wall tiles, the wall and floor surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned. If the wall has cracks, they should be properly repaired before tiling to prevent them from expanding and causing cracks and detachment in the wall surface later on.
4、Leave appropriate gaps.
When tiling interior walls, it is recommended to leave a 2-5mm gap between the tiles. This is done to mitigate the effects of dimensional variations, to showcase the decorative style of glazed tiles, and to effectively prevent tiles from being squeezed against each other due to expansion and contraction, thereby avoiding issues such as hollows and detachment in the interior wall tiles.
5、String laying and application
When tiling interior walls, use string lines to ensure a smooth, durable, and straight-jointed surface. Protect the tiled surface during installation to prevent scratches and contamination.
