1. Firstly, the quality of the tiles is not good. They may turn yellow due to exposure to wind, temperature changes, or the presence of acidic or alkaline substances in the air.
2. Over time, the large marble tiles in the living room may turn yellow due to penetration. For bathrooms and kitchens, the prolonged exposure to humidity, combined with the effects of water stains and soap scum, makes the tiles particularly prone to yellowing.

1、To maintain the clean and glossy surface of marble tiles without damaging their appearance, a multi-functional cleaning paste can be used.
2. Commonly used household cleaning and disinfecting agents contain acidic and alkaline chemicals that can significantly affect natural stone. These chemicals can cause undesirable reactions on the stone's surface and within its mineral composition. Notably, most cleaning agents require at least five minutes of contact with the stone's surface to be effective. However, during this time, the cleaning agent is already damaging the stone. Therefore, when cleaning stone surfaces in bathrooms, it is recommended to use cleaning agents with a neutral pH.
3. Regarding the gaps between the marble tiles, first use a brush to apply a small amount of cleaning agent to remove dirt, and then apply a waterproof agent to the gaps. This will not only prevent water penetration and mold growth but also provide a protective barrier.

If the marble tiles become severely discolored, acidic cleaning agents can remove limestone, cement stains, water stains, and stubborn urine stains commonly found in bathrooms, as well as oxidized metal stains. Alkaline cleaning agents can remove various oily stains from plants and animals, as well as mechanical oils, and can also remove wax layers from the floor.
