One. How to repair floor tiles that have started to peel up.
1. First, check whether the arching is localized to individual tiles or a larger area. You can tap each tile with a hammer. If the sound is hollow, it indicates that the tile has separated from the concrete substrate. Pressing down on the tile at this point may cause it to crack. If the arching is limited to a small area, you can remove and replace the affected tiles. However, if there are many arching tiles, you will need to replace them all.

2. Use a cutting machine to cut the raised tiles (this will generate a lot of dust, so be sure to add water to the cutting machine). Then, carefully lift the tiles; otherwise, they may crack.
3. Remove all cement mortar adhered to the edges of the tiles, then remove approximately 1-2 cm of the cement layer beneath the bricks, and clean thoroughly.
4、Apply a uniform layer of mixed cement mortar with a 1:3 cement-to-sand ratio. If using white cement, finish with 108 glue to ensure a tight bond between the cement and the flooring tiles.
5. Reinstall the floor tiles, allow the cement to dry completely, and then use a grout machine to reinforce the joints. This will effectively prevent the tiles from lifting or cracking again.
Two. What adhesive should be used to fix loose tiles?
1、General-purpose tile adhesive
Ordinary tile adhesive is suitable for bonding various types of floor tiles or small wall tiles onto ordinary cementitious surfaces.
2、Enhanced Tile Adhesive
It exhibits strong bonding and anti-fall properties, effectively enabling the bonding of tiles and non-mortar surfaces with high bonding requirements, such as wood panels.
3、Heavy Brick Tile Adhesive
This type of adhesive has high bonding strength and excellent flexibility, capable of resisting stresses generated by expansion and contraction of the bonded layer. It can be used for bonding large-area and dimensionally varied materials such as gypsum board, fiberboard, plywood, and existing wall coverings.
