How to select wood brick
1Specifications
Generally, higher-quality wood-look tiles are more practical than solid wood flooring. Wood-look tiles are easy to clean and require minimal maintenance. Wood-look tiles are available in common sizes such as 150x900mm, 200x1000mm, and 200x1200mm. The specific size depends on individual preference.
2Density
When selecting wooden-patterned tiles, it is essential to choose full-body ceramic tiles with high density. To test the density, weigh the tile and apply a small amount of water to the back of the tile. If the water does not penetrate the tile over time, it indicates that the tile has a high density.
3- Edges and corners
Using straight-cut wood bricks will provide a better appearance compared to using bricks laid at an angle, with standardized dimensions and reduced effort during installation.
4- Texture
The wood-effect tiles should not be completely flat, but should retain some of the natural wood texture and subtle wood grain. Additionally, the tile patterns should be more diverse and complex, avoiding overly uniform patterns. Ideally, each tile should have at least six or eight different patterns.
5、Color
The color of the tiles depends on your preference. Those who prefer a minimalist style can choose slightly lighter colors, while those who prefer a vintage style can choose darker colors.

Wood-look tiles are suitable for which interior design styles?
1、Country Style
Wood-look tiles and the pastoral style are perfectly complementary. The pastoral style evokes a sense of nature, warmth, and simplicity, with an elegant and relaxed aesthetic. This style of decoration can effectively express the American spirit of freedom and openness. For China, there is a greater emphasis on humanistic values and a preference for comfortable, natural living styles.
2、Retro Industrial Style
This style of renovation aims for an industrial and nostalgic aesthetic. The overall color brightness and purity will typically be moderate, with neutral colors predominating. Designers may occasionally incorporate contrasting colors or elements for accentuation.
3、Nordic style
Nordic style offers a rich color palette, with relatively high saturation, making it a vibrant and expressive choice. When selecting materials for both hard and soft finishes, you have more freedom. For example, materials such as wood, wrought iron, glass, and cotton are common elements in Nordic style. Using wood-look tiles can further enhance this effect.
4Japanese minimalist style
When discussing Japanese style, many people immediately think of the use of large expanses of natural wood-toned materials. This style creates a simple and warm family atmosphere. Furthermore, the colors commonly used in Japanese style are generally softer, more refined, and quieter compared to other styles.
