3. Use a wrench to push the short end of the fastener into the corresponding hole. Apply pressure to push the fastener through. once the fastener is fully inserted, remove the other end.
4. These two dampers are part of the toilet lid damping system. Issues are typically caused by leakage of the damping fluid due to inadequate sealing, which requires complex repairs and often involves replacement. After dismantling, accurately measure the dimensions of each component and then purchase replacement dampers of the same model.
5. Finally, reverse the disassembly order and re-insert the fasteners in the reverse sequence. Then, align the two holes on the fastener with the two upright posts on the toilet seat and press downwards to secure it.
6. After installation, check if the toilet seat and lid can be positioned at any location. If they can, this indicates that the damping system repair is complete.
