One, how to remove the corner valve
Step 1: First, turn off the main water valve and remove the handle.
Step 2: Next, unscrew the metal pipe in the opposite direction to gradually remove it.

Step 3: Finally, use a wrench to firmly grip the external part of the corner valve and slowly turn it in the opposite direction. This should typically allow you to completely remove the corner valve.
important Notes: When removing corner beads, avoid applying excessive force. If the corner bead breaks or rusts, it is recommended to have a professional remove it.
Two. How to remove rusted corner beads
Technique 1: You can place a wrench around the outside of the jamb, and then gently tap the wrench handle with a hammer until the jamb loosens, at which point you can turn it to remove it.
Tip 2: You can drip some edible oil or kerosene into the corner valve, and wait for the oil to fully saturate the valve before using a wrench and wire brush to remove it.
Technique 3: Directly spray the rust remover onto the rusted screws, allowing it to penetrate the screws. Then, try to unscrew the screws with a wrench.
Three. important considerations for replacing corner beads.
1. Before replacement, select suitable and high-quality corner profiles to ensure their durability and longer lifespan. Corner profiles are available in various materials. If budget allows, brass corner profiles are recommended due to their excellent malleability, ease of processing, and superior durability, leading to a longer lifespan. It is not recommended to use iron or alloy corner profiles, as these are prone to rust and damage.
2. Before replacement, carefully check the screw spacing within the corner valve. If the corner valve cannot be inserted and can only be inserted three times, remove the corner valve, wrap it with four layers of felt, and then re-insert it. If the corner valve is inserted too far, do not add more felt, but replace the corner valve. If felt is wrapped excessively, the felt's properties will change over time, leading to water leakage.
3. When replacing corner beads, additional binding tape should be wrapped around the threaded portion. This provides protection for the threads and effectively prevents water leakage.
