I.Motion Sensor FaucetThe principle
The infrared-sensing faucet operates based on the principle of infrared reflection. When hands are placed in the area, the infrared sensor detects the presence of an object blocking the receiver, and then sends a signal to automatically open the faucet. When the hands are removed, the faucet's outlet valve automatically shuts off.

II. Advantages and Disadvantages of Sensor Faucets
1、Advantages of touchless faucets
(1) The induction faucet has a beautiful and elegant design, is simple and practical, and offers high aesthetic appeal and ease of use.
(2) The design of the touchless faucet is highly user-friendly. The faucet's opening time is limited to approximately 30 seconds. If the faucet remains open for longer than this, it will automatically close, preventing water waste due to foreign objects remaining in the sensing range for extended periods.
(3) The infrared sensing faucet utilizes infrared sensing technology for controlling the water valve, effectively reducing water waste. Compared to other types of faucets, its water conservation rate can reach over 60%.
(4) Touchless faucets are more hygienic. When using other faucets, it's important to close the valve after washing your hands, which can lead to bacterial contamination. Touchless faucets eliminate this issue; the valve automatically closes when your hand leaves the infrared sensor area.
2、Disadvantages of inductive water faucets
(1) The production cost of touchless faucets is relatively high, which results in a higher market price, typically ranging from 400 to 1000 yuan. Some high-performance touchless faucets may have even higher prices.
(2) The inductive faucet uses a power-driven system. Regular inspection and replacement of internal power system components are required during use.
