1. Firstly, we need to understand the working principle of infrared-sensing urinals. These urinals utilize the principle of infrared light reflection. When a person stands in front of the urinal (toilet), the infrared emitter emits infrared light that is reflected by the human body and received by the infrared receiver. The signal then passes through subsequent processing to control the opening of the electromagnetic valve and release water. When the person leaves the urinal, the natural infrared light no longer reflects, and the electromagnetic valve automatically closes.

2. If the sensor-activated urinal is not dispensing water, the following steps should be taken: * First, check the plumbing to ensure that water is flowing. * If the water supply is turned off, wait for the water to return before testing.
3. Verify that the indicator light is illuminated. If it is not, replace the battery or check the power supply. If the power supply is normal, it indicates that the sensor circuit board is faulty.
4. If the sensing circuit board is functioning normally, check the electromagnetic valve. Use your hand to manually trigger the valve and listen for the normal "on-off" sound. If you hear this sound, it indicates that the electromagnetic valve is not faulty. The problem may be due to sand or debris in the pipeline, or the valve can be cleaned directly.
Two. What should I do if the sensor on the urinal is not responding?
1、No indication (indicator light not lit) frequently results in water leakage.
Solution: First, check if the power supply is functioning correctly. If the power supply is normal, but the indicator light does not illuminate after sensing, replace the sensing circuit board.
2、No water discharge detected (indicator light remains on)
Solution: Check if the filter is clogged and clean it if necessary. Then, disassemble the electromagnetic valve internally and clean it. Reassemble the valve in its original state. If the electromagnetic valve's valve core does not produce any sound when opening and closing, replace the electromagnetic valve coil.
3、Presence of continuous water flow with indicator light on.
Solution: First, check the inlet filter for any blockages. If there are no blockages, carefully listen for the sound of the electromagnetic valve opening and closing. If the valve is functioning, disassemble it internally, clean it, and then reassemble it in its original state.
4、Low water volume detected (indicator light illuminates)
Solution: Clean the filter net and electromagnetic valve of the sensor urinal, then reinstall them as they were.
