I.sinkHow to install the drain sealing ring?
1. First, remove the sink. Disassemble the lower end of the sink drain and the flange, then securely fasten the flange of the sink drain to the underside of the sink. Ensure the sealing gasket is properly installed. Then, place the sink on the countertop. Align one end of the sink drain with the hole in the countertop where the sink is to be installed.

2. Wrap some waterproof tape around the appropriate location of the sink drain pipe, then align the other end of the sink drain pipe with the opening of the drain pipe, make adjustments, remove the sink drain pipe components, and use a wrench to tighten the connection between the drain pipe and the sink. Ensure that both ends of the sink drain pipe are adjusted evenly and that all connections are tightened.
Two. How to install the sink drain.
1、Understand the structure of the sink drain. Sink drains are typically sold as pre-assembled components, with the main parts being the drain body, the sealing flange, and the fixing nut.
2. Remove the fixed nuts and sealing flanges from the drain.
3. Install the sealing flange, which was removed from the sink body, at the bottom of the sink's drain opening.
4. Place the sink flat and align it with the drain opening of the bathroom cabinet or sink (apply a small amount of silicone sealant around the drain opening for sealing). Then, press the sink firmly into place.
5. Wrap the lower part of the sink drain with a strip of synthetic rubber (this step is crucial; the synthetic rubber strip fills the gaps in the spiral to prevent leaks).
6. Insert the sink body vertically into the sink drain opening.
7. Place the sink drain body and rotate to initially tighten.
8. Insert the fixing nuts from the underside of the sink into the corresponding holes.
9. Then, use a wrench to tighten the fixing nuts.
10. Turn on the faucet to drain the water. After the basin is full, wait 10 minutes and check for any leaks.
If the leak test passes, the installation of the sink drain is considered complete. Typically, the sink drain is installed either during the sink installation or the bathroom cabinet installation. The most important aspect is ensuring a tight seal when connecting the drainpipe to prevent leaks.
