One、How to install faucet
Step 1: Purchase the appropriate faucet.
When purchasing a faucet, pay attention to two key aspects: the size and the style. Firstly, the size: for example, whether it's a four-inch or six-inch connection. You can measure the diameter of the pipe using a ruler and then inform the salesperson to determine the required size. Secondly, the style: consider whether you need it for a washing machine, a hose, or no connection at all. Purchase the style that best suits your needs.

Step 2: Purchase raw material rolls.
The white strip can be used during faucet installation to prevent water leakage at the faucet interface.
Step 3: Remove the damaged faucet.
Generally, you can unscrew standard faucets by hand. If they are too tight, you can use a wrench. When unscrewing, be careful not to apply excessive force, which could damage the pipes.
Step 4: Install the new faucet.
Wrap the new faucet interface tightly with rubber tape, ensuring you wrap it multiple times. When tightening, do not turn the faucet all the way. A common issue for beginners is that the faucet outlet always points upwards after installation, which is usually caused by overtightening. Wrap the rubber tape approximately half a turn to a full turn, but not all the way. Overtightening can cause leaks.
Two. important considerations for faucet installation
1. If a single-outlet faucet for a sink needs to be replaced, a dedicated angle valve product must be purchased to fix the cold and hot water pipes in the wall opening. If there is a distance between the angle valve and the water inlet pipe, an extension pipe must be purchased. If the pipe is too long, it needs to be cut shorter. If the angle is not suitable, it can be bent and adjusted to the desired position.
2. If the wall-mounted faucet needs to be replaced, select a water pipe with the appropriate depth. The hot and cold water pipes must be at least 20 cm apart. If replacing a concealed faucet, the faucet valve should be pre-embedded in the wall, but pay attention to the wall thickness. During the embedding process, the plastic membrane of the valve should not be removed to avoid damage. Also, pay attention to the orientation of the valve to avoid errors.
3. The water pipe on the left is typically connected to the hot water supply, while the water pipe on the right is connected to the cold water supply. A distance of 100mm to 200mm should be maintained between the two pipes. After fixing the inlet interface, remove the faucet. After completing the overall wall construction, reinstall the faucet.
