One. Toilet installation method
1. According to the design drawings, pre-install the water pipe at the specified location for the toilet installation, while also determining the distance of the outlet pipe from the ground level.
2. The depth of the pit for installing the toilet should be greater than the height of the toilet.
3. Insert the connecting plug into the inlet of the toilet and tighten it. Apply a layer of silicone sealant or putty to the outer edge that contacts the toilet inlet, insert the water pipe into the inlet of the plug, and ensure a tight seal to prevent leaks.
4. Apply a layer of silicone sealant or oil-based putty to the edges of the toilet outlet. Insert the inlet of the drain pipe and level the toilet fixture using ash or other filler material.
5. Open the water supply system and inspect all connections for leaks. If leaks are detected, inspect each connection until the issue is resolved.
Two. important considerations for installing toilets.
1. When installing the toilet, first measure the product dimensions and allocate the installation space accordingly. The space should be filled with a mixed mortar; it is strictly prohibited to install with cement mortar, as the cement's setting and expansion may damage the toilet.
2. Apply a layer of asphalt or grease to the surface where the squat toilet will be installed, to isolate the squat toilet from the water-based mortar and protect it from cracking.
3. For toilet bowls with existing water reservoirs, the drainpipe should not have additional water reservoirs. Otherwise, it will affect the flushing function. For toilet bowls without water reservoirs, a water reservoir should be installed in the pipe to prevent odor.
4. When using the squat toilet, please do not dispose of items such as newspapers, diapers, and sanitary napkins, which can easily clog the drain.
5. In environments with temperatures below 0°C, water should not be stored in the curved section of the toilet or other enclosed spaces, as the expansion of frozen water could potentially rupture the toilet.
