One, are drainage covers installed when laying bricks?
Yes.
The bathroom floor tiles and floor drain should be installed simultaneously. If you install the floor drain after the tiles, it will be more complicated. You will need to cut out the tiles around the drain, which is not feasible. If you install the floor drain first, there is a risk of gaps forming between the drain and the tiles, which could lead to water leakage.
Two. How to install the floor drain in the bathroom.

1、Install the drain body
Remove the temporarily fixed drain, then use cement to securely fix the surrounding area of the drain. This allows us to place the drain in the drainpipe. The objective is to create a tight seal between the drain and the drainpipe, with no gaps, to prevent water leakage.
2、Brick repair
"Patching" refers to the ceramic tiles we cut around the drain opening, typically leaving four tiles intact. We can then use ready-mixed putty paste to fill in the gaps and complete the tiling around the drain.
3. Install the anti-odor inner core for the drain.
Because the floor drains are installed in separate parts, we initially installed the drain body. At this stage, we could also install the drain's odor-proof inner core, which is the part commonly referred to as the water seal.
4、Install the drain cover.
After installing the inner core of the drain, the final step is to place the cover that comes with the drain panel on top. This completes the installation of the drain.
Three. Requirements for installing floor drains in restrooms.
1、Manhole installation height
The installation height of the drain refers to the vertical distance between the drain cover and the floor tiles after the drain is installed. The installed height of the drain should be approximately 3 to 5 millimeters lower than the finished floor surface to ensure proper drainage.
2、Requirements for the pipe beneath the floor drain.
The pipes must be selected according to our specified installation height. Installation is not permitted in areas where concrete filler is required. That is, if our floor drain pipes are too short, we must accurately measure the required length, cut the pipes to the correct size, and then extend them.
3、Requirements for the bend below the manhole
For the curved section under the manhole, it is recommended to use curved pipes with inspection ports. This allows for inspection and maintenance after blockage.
