One. Quick tips for cleaning clogged showerheads
1、Soak with vinegar
If the showerhead is severely clogged, you can use an acidic cleaning method to resolve the issue. Pour white vinegar into a basin, then remove the clogged showerhead and immerse it in the vinegar. After soaking for 10 minutes, rinse with water to remove any remaining mineral deposits.

2、Use a needle to puncture.
If the nozzle of the showerhead is clogged, you can first run water to see which holes are blocked, and then use a needle to pierce the small holes, allowing the debris to be expelled. Continue piercing until all debris is removed. When using a needle to clean the nozzle, be careful not to damage the nozzle holes.
3、Use a lubricant
If the blockage is caused by rust on the showerhead, a lubricant needs to be used. After removing the rust from the inside of the showerhead, apply a lubricant. This lubricant has excellent adhesion and penetration properties with metal, creating a protective layer on the rusted area and the metal surface, preventing future rusting.
II. How to prevent showerheads from clogging
If the issue is due to poor-quality showerheads, it is important to pay attention to the quality of the showerheads when selecting them, and to choose showerheads that meet quality standards. Generally, it is recommended to purchase from reputable, large-scale stores, and to avoid purchasing plastic or other inferior products. Instead, choose copper showerheads to prevent issues such as clogging or cracking.
If the clogging is caused by prolonged shower use, it is necessary to regularly clean the showerhead in daily life. Generally, white vinegar can be used to remove limescale. The specific method is to clean the showerhead once every three months, disassemble the showerhead, immerse it in a basin with white vinegar for 4-6 hours, then clean and reinstall the showerhead. After turning on the water, the limescale will flow out, effectively removing limescale and killing bacteria.
