One. Usage method of self-leveling agent
1. Prepare tools such as putty applicators, brushes, sponges, scrapers, cloths, spatulas, grout nozzles, and grout sealant, and determine whether the substrate will be completely filled or partially filled.
2. Use a grout chisel or scraper to create a recess within the tile joints that is 2mm or less deep. This ensures that the grout has sufficient space to spread and create a large, stable surface, reducing the risk of detachment.
3. Use a utility knife or similar tool to remove debris from the gaps between tiles. Pay close attention to avoid damaging the gaps. Then, use a brush to thoroughly clean the gaps between the tiles, followed by a sponge.

4、Apply sealant tape approximately 1mm from the edges of the tile joints to prevent sealant from spilling and contaminating the tiles.
5. Open the putty powder cartridge and install it on the caulking gun. When applying the joint filler, ensure that the caulking gun and the joint are at a 45-degree angle. The pressure and speed of the caulking gun should be applied evenly and at a moderate pace to ensure that the applied joint filler is smooth and uniform.
6. When applying grout, immediately press down on the grout with a tapping block to compact it. After pressing, promptly remove the grout paper adhered to the tiles to prevent the grout on the paper and the grout in the gaps from solidifying and sticking together.
7. After allowing the sealant to dry completely, you can use a scraper to remove any remaining sealant. Generally, you can scrape away the sealant after 24 hours. If it is winter, the time should be extended to 48 hours.
Two. important considerations when using joint sealant.
1、The width of the gap should not exceed 3mm, and the depth should be greater than 0.5mm.
2. During construction, ensure that all gaps are thoroughly cleaned of debris, so that there is no water accumulation, dust, or particles.
3. When applying the product, first test its effectiveness on a small area to ensure it meets the required standards.
4. During construction, pay attention to the setting time and ensure that the mixture is evenly spread using appropriate tools.
5. After construction, promptly remove any remaining slurry to prevent it from solidifying, which would make subsequent cleaning difficult.
