One, Tile adhesive is used for wall or floor application?
Suitable for walls and floors. Tile adhesive is primarily used for bonding tiles, mosaic tiles, and floor tiles, and is widely applicable for decorative applications on interior and exterior walls, floors, bathrooms, and kitchens. Its main characteristics include high bonding strength, water resistance, frost resistance, good aging resistance, and ease of use, making it an ideal bonding material.
Two. Is it easy to apply tile adhesive to the floor?
1、The thickness of the bonding layer is very thin.
When using tile adhesive to install floor tiles, the maximum thickness of the materials used should not exceed 20mm, and the thickness will further decrease after setting. This results in a significantly shorter setting time for the tile adhesive compared to cement mortar.

2、The adhesive mixture contains a significant amount of adhesive material.
The setting time of the adhesive material is shorter than that of ordinary cement mortar, meaning that, from the perspective of the tile adhesive material itself, the setting time of the tile adhesive is significantly shorter than that of cement mortar. Typically, after completing the tiling with tile adhesive, the strength reaches approximately 70% to 80% within three days.
3、The tiling process presents significant challenges.
When laying ceramic tiles on the floor, the thin-layer method is typically used. Therefore, if you want to rely on the underlying substrate to level the surface when laying ceramic tiles, it becomes very difficult. When applying ceramic tile adhesive, the tiles are generally laid in a single application, and it is crucial to avoid any subsequent disturbances.
Three, can ceramic tile adhesive be directly applied to the wall surface?
1、It cannot be applied directly to the wall. After obtaining the tile adhesive, it needs to be mixed with an appropriate amount of water and allowed to sit for about 10 minutes before use. Applying the tile adhesive directly to the wall without adding water will likely result in tile cracking and air pockets, and will also reduce the adhesive effect.
2. When using tile adhesive, it is not only necessary to add water to form a paste, but also to pay attention to the corresponding temperature. It is not recommended to use tile adhesive for construction if the temperature is below 5°C or above 35°C, as this can cause tiles to crack and form voids in the future.
