1. Remove debris from expansion joints: If the fine gaps in the bamboo flooring are filled with fine particles due to an excessive desire for perfect fit, causing the expansion joint to be blocked, take measures to remove the debris from the expansion joint.
2、Surface Repair: If the bulge diameter is less than or equal to 2 centimeters, it can be appropriately sanded, and the bamboo board can be sanded to repair, making it as smooth as possible without affecting the overall aesthetic, which is a good option for those who prefer a less invasive approach.
3. Remove and ventilate: If the flooring is tightly compressed and cannot expand with humidity, or if it can only be lifted, remove the lifted wood pieces and surrounding flooring to allow for ventilation and dissipation of moisture, which can alleviate the widespread lifting or detachment issues at the lifted areas. Experienced flooring installers often pre-leave small gaps during flooring installation to allow the flooring to "expand and contract" with temperature changes, thus preventing lifting.

This is because the battens are typically nailed in, requiring the use of hammers and other tools, which can be time-consuming and labor-intensive. Furthermore, after removing the battens, the bamboo flooring is often damaged and unusable.
2、Replacement
If the existing flooring cannot be reused, new bamboo flooring must be installed. Before renovation, it is necessary to measure the dimensions and cut the boards accordingly, and to apply sealant to prevent moisture damage. During the installation of the bamboo flooring, ensure that the boards are laid vertically, closely together. Additionally, use shoe boards along the walls to cover expansion joints, preventing warping or cracking.
