One. How to drill holes for a split-type integrated stove.
1、Pre-preparation
If you choose a modular kitchen range hood for your home, you need to prepare three holes on the cabinet to match the selected range hood. These holes should be for the power cord, gas pipe, and exhaust pipe. The typical orientation is left power, right gas (i.e., power cord on the left, gas pipe on the right). Also, ensure that the gas inlet and power input are not on the same side to avoid potential fire hazards. Before drilling, confirm that the power and electrical switch are turned off to prevent any safety issues.

2、Determine the location and dimensions.
Different models of modular range hoods have different locations for power, gas, and ventilation openings.
Verify the exhaust pipe hole: For common exhaust ducts, you also need to check the direction of the public smoke exhaust system. The distance between the public smoke exhaust system and the integrated range hood should be controlled between 30cm and 2m. The height of the opening from the ground may vary slightly depending on the specific model. The diameter of the exhaust pipe opening for integrated range hoods is usually standardized at 180mm. The opening of the exhaust pipe should be consistent with the center axis of the exhaust port on both sides of the integrated range hood and the distance to the ground and the back wall.
Confirm the air source location: The air source holes on both sides of the integrated range hood are acceptable, located on the upper front of both sides of the hood. The diameter of the air inlet openings for kitchen cabinets is generally around 100mm, with a distance of approximately 410mm from the back wall. The actual machine dimensions should be the primary consideration, with a height of approximately 665mm from the ground. It is important to note that when it comes to air intake, we should maintain a valve that can be opened and closed to control air intake.
Confirm the power outlet: The typical diameter of a power outlet is 100mm, with a distance of 135mm from the back wall and 660mm from the ground. It is recommended to separate the power outlet and air inlet/exhaust outlet as much as possible. By pre-planning the location of the power outlet, power outlet, air inlet/exhaust outlet, and smoke outlet, we can better achieve the goal of beautifying the kitchen and enabling quick and convenient use.
3、Direct drilling
It is possible to directly use drilling tools to create holes once the location and dimensions have been determined. Alternatively, you can hire a specialized contractor to perform the drilling service.
Two. important considerations for opening pre-cut openings in cabinet-style integrated ranges.
1、Pay attention to the drilling height.
The distance between the integrated stove and the ground should be approximately 15-30cm. The specific dimensions should be determined based on the actual requirements of the integrated stove.
2、Pay attention to power supply provision.
After completing the drilling, we consider the various uses after the holes are created, and the location of the electrical outlets is a particular concern, as it directly affects our daily usage.
The power supply for the integrated kitchen range should not be located behind the range, as the thickness of the outlet can cause the range to protrude beyond the cabinet, affecting the installation and causing user dissatisfaction. It is recommended to place the power supply behind the range or install the outlet on the adjacent side panel, but it is important to communicate with the user about the cabinet's rear panel.
