One, what is the required thickness of the wire conduit?
JDG conduit, which typically refers to a galvanized steel conduit (a fixed-joint, coated steel electrical conduit for electrical installations), is a new type of conduit for protecting electrical wiring. The conduit and its metal accessories are connected using screw-fastening technology, eliminating the need for grounding, welding, and threading. The appearance is silver-white or yellow.

JDG metal conduit utilizes the standard for building-use electrical conduit, JG3050-1998. JDG conduit specifications include sizes of 16, 20, 25, 32, 40, and 50, with corresponding thicknesses ranging from 0.6mm to 1.6mm. In addition to the 16mm conduit, which has a maximum wall thickness of 1.2mm, the maximum wall thickness for the other sizes is 1.6mm.
Two. What is the allowable deviation in the thickness of the cable duct?
JDG pipes meet the national standard with wall thicknesses ranging from 1.2 to 1.6 mm. The national standard specifies a wall thickness of 1.6 mm, with a tolerance of ±0.15 mm. A wall thickness of 1.45 mm or greater is considered compliant with the national standard.
The following is the JDG pipe metal conduit standard thickness, for reference:
Cable duct, Ф16 specification: outer diameter tolerance -0.30mm; thickness must reach 1.5mm with a tolerance of ±0.15mm; length 4m with a tolerance of ±5.00mm.
- Cable duct, diameter: 20mm, allowable deviation: -0.30mm; thickness: 1.6mm, allowable deviation: ±0.15mm; length: 4m, allowable deviation: ±5.00mm
Cable duct, Ф25 specification: outer diameter tolerance -0.30mm; thickness must reach 1.6mm with a tolerance of ±0.15mm; length 4m with a tolerance of ±5.00.
Electrical conduit, Φ32 specification: outer diameter tolerance -0.30mm; thickness must reach 1.6mm with a tolerance of ±0.15mm; length 4m with a tolerance of ±5.00mm.
Cable conduit, Φ40 specification: outer diameter tolerance -0.30mm; thickness must reach 1.6mm with a tolerance of ±0.15mm; length 4m with a tolerance of ±5.00mm.
Electrical conduit, Φ50 specification: outer diameter tolerance -0.30mm; thickness must reach 1.6mm with a tolerance of ±0.15mm; length 4m with a tolerance of ±5.00mm.
Three. important considerations when using cable conduits.
1、When cutting JDG pipes, use a gearless saw or a steel saw to cut. The cut edges should be smooth and free of burrs.
2、When embedding JDG pipes, their bending radius should not be less than 6 times the outer diameter of the pipe. When exposed, their bending radius should not be less than 6 times the outer diameter of the pipe.
