It is made from acrylic emulsion, titanium dioxide, pigments, and other additives. Some are made from shell-based materials that have been treated at high temperatures. Compared to traditional wallpaper, liquid wallpaper offers advantages such as better gloss, resistance to cracking, water resistance, and easy application. Notably, liquid wallpaper does not require the use of adhesives such as 107 glue or polyvinyl alcohol during application, making it free from heavy metals such as lead and mercury, as well as aldehyde substances, ensuring a safe and non-polluting application.
Therefore, it can be confidently stated that genuine "liquid wallpaper" is indeed a non-toxic, environmentally friendly building material. However, we must be wary of unscrupulous merchants who use substandard latex paint to create fake "liquid wallpaper" for profit, thereby creating a confusing market for liquid wallpaper. Are liquid wallpapers harmful to humans?

1. Some defective liquid wallpapers contain chemicals such as ethylene glycol ether and toluene, which are toxic substances. Additionally, if the wallpaper contains excessive levels of heavy metals, it poses a significant health hazard.

Counterfeit liquid wallpaper can lead to excessive levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) indoors, which, if a person is exposed to such an environment for a long time, can affect the central nervous system and immune function, causing symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, and difficulty concentrating.
3. Due to the complex sources of indoor VOCs, paints are just one of many sources. Furthermore, the VOCs being studied refer to volatile organic compounds with a boiling point temperature range of 50°C-260°C and a saturation vapor pressure exceeding 133.2 Pa at room temperature.
