I.Sports flooringHow long after maintenance can it be used?
The sports floor can be maintained and used immediately after cleaning. Simply clean the surface and allow it to dry before use. Daily cleaning should be performed using a vacuum cleaner and a non-dripping wet mop. During dry seasons, increase the frequency of mopping to maintain the desired humidity level in the facility. All individuals entering the facility must wear appropriate athletic shoes with clean, dry soles. Hard objects should not be dragged or rolled across the wooden floor to prevent damage. Water, trash, cigarette butts, metal objects, and items with sharp edges should not be thrown or scattered within the facility.

II. Common Misconceptions in Maintaining Sports Wooden Flooring
Misconception 1: Using household cleaning products for cleaning
Household cleaning products are typically alkaline and can react with the existing finish on sports wood flooring when used for cleaning, causing damage and leaving marks.
Pitfall 2: Using a stiff-bristled brush to scrub the ball line tape.
Some sports court floors have painted court lines using court line tape. When removing the tape, dark gray or black marks may remain on the wooden floor surface. Using a stiff-bristled brush to remove these marks can easily damage the sports flooring.
Pitfall 3: Ventilation frequency for sports venues
Gyms with wooden flooring require indoor air humidity to be maintained between 50% and 70%. Due to differences in regional environments and varying ventilation frequencies depending on the season and location, excessive or insufficient ventilation can negatively impact the wooden flooring. Ventilation frequency should be adjusted based on the indoor air humidity.
Misconception 4: Exposing soaked wooden flooring to sunlight for drying.
After the engineered wood flooring swells and warps, it should be removed and replaced only after the moisture content has stabilized. If wet engineered wood flooring is left in direct sunlight, it is likely to curl, warp, and ultimately become unusable.
