The tools used for cutting anti-static flooring include cutting machines and water knives. Generally, using a cutting machine is preferred to achieve a more regular and aesthetically pleasing cut. Note that cutting the flooring is typically done when the flooring specifications affect the laying process. To ensure the complete and aesthetically pleasing installation of the anti-static flooring, it is important to minimize the cutting of the flooring.
II. How to install anti-static flooring along the wall
1、After installing the complete flooring, mark out the areas for cutting the anti-static flooring along the wall edges and around the perimeter. Use a corner gauge and pencil to draw the cutting lines on the flooring that needs to be removed.
2. The equipment for cutting anti-static flooring is: Yunshi machine/stone cutting machine. The Yunshi machine is suitable for construction projects, decorative work, and stone processing, as well as cutting and processing of non-metallic, hard, and brittle materials such as honed stone, marble, granite, ceramic tiles, asbestos cement boards, and glass-fiber reinforced materials.
3. When cutting anti-static flooring, it is essential to wear protective eyewear. Be careful not to injure your eyes with steel dust or sand particles during cutting. If the dust is excessive, you can add water while cutting.
4、Install anti-static flooring along the wall. First, cut the supporting beams to the appropriate length corresponding to the wall distance. Then, attach the supporting beams to the supporting frame with screws. Place the cut anti-static flooring on top of the supporting frame. Note: The supporting frame and beams along the wall do not require screws, and the direction in which the anti-static flooring is cut along the wall does not require the supporting beams.
