I.Anti-static flooringWhat is the required thickness of the wax coating?
The typical thickness for anti-static floor waxing is two to three coats. If the floor wax is applied too thickly, a deep-penetrating quick-waxing solution can be used to quickly and thoroughly remove old wax and stains from the floor, restoring the surface to a clean state. This product should be mixed with water according to the recommended ratio. Apply the diluted solution evenly to the floor using a mop, keeping the floor slightly damp. After approximately 5-10 minutes, the wax and old wax can be easily cleaned together. If the wax layer is old or excessively thick, increase the dilution concentration or apply the undiluted solution directly to the wax surface, and use a brush or machine to assist in removing the wax.

II. Precautions for applying wax to anti-static flooring
1. Regularly apply wax to the floor, with a recommended interval of approximately six months. If the interval is too long, the original wax layer on the floor will be easily worn, and the floor surface will be prone to scratches. Additionally, if the floor has a high foot traffic, the waxing interval can be shortened.
2. It is not advisable to simply apply one or two coats of wax to the floor to save time and money. Waxing a floor should always be done in three coats, with a final polishing step after the second coat, to achieve a smooth and glossy finish.
3. Before applying wax, I must not use any chemical cleaning agents or solutions containing chemicals to clean the anti-static floor. Otherwise, this may cause poor adhesion of the wax.
4. When waxing anti-static flooring, it is best to do so on a sunny or clear day. If waxing is performed in rainy or excessively humid conditions, it can easily lead to a cloudy appearance and negatively impact the waxing effect. If the room temperature is below 5 degrees Celsius, the floor wax will also harden.
