One. What isAnti-static tiles
Anti-static tiles are a new type of anti-static material that overcomes the drawbacks of existing materials, such as epoxy resins, melamine, and PVC anti-static coatings, as well as flooring and anti-static rubber boards, which are prone to aging, wear and tear, contamination, poor durability, and inadequate fire resistance. By overcoming these disadvantages, anti-static tiles are compatible with the advantages of ceramic wall and floor tiles, offering aesthetic appeal, durability, fire resistance, slip resistance, pressure resistance, abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, dirt resistance, waterproofness, low radiation, environmental friendliness, ease of construction, and permanent anti-static properties with high-end artistic decorative effects.

II. Anti-static tile laying method
1、The antistatic tile flooring consists of a low layer, a middle layer, a surface layer, and an antistatic grounding system.
2. The middle layer mortar should be a 1:3 dry cement-sand mix, with a thickness of 25-35 mm. A layer of cement mortar should be applied to the surface.
3. When mixing with cement mortar, add the anti-settling agent in the specified ratio. The ratio of cement mortar to conductive powder should be 1:0.003 by weight.
4. Lay the conductive copper strip with a longitudinal distance of 3000 mm and a transverse distance of 4800 mm on the middle layer. After laying, use a multimeter to test the conductive copper strip to ensure it forms a complete pathway, and record the acceptance of the concealed work.
5. During construction, maintain a level surface. Use a rubber hammer to tap and ensure close contact with the mortar, then adjust the surface smoothness and joint width.
6. When laying tiles on the middle layer, the ground surface must be clean and free of debris. There should be fine grout joints between the tiles. Tiles should fit snugly against the walls, and mortar joints should not be used.
7. When jointing, use the same type, same strength, and same color jointing products, and ensure proper care and protection.
8. During construction, the ground surface must be level, and all wiring must be straight. The antistatic flooring must be tightly connected to the intermediate layer, with no air pockets.
9、The width of the tile joints should meet the requirements and should not exceed 3mm.
10. After construction, the surface should be covered with fabric and kept moist. once the strength of the cement mortar in the middle layer reaches the required level, it can be cleaned with water or a 3%~15% solution of citric acid to achieve a cleaner surface.
11、After the surface is completely dry, ensure proper grounding connection according to the requirements.
12、The outdoor grounding point of the static grounding system must be independently grounded. If there is no additional space available, it can be connected to the main line, but the grounding resistance must not exceed 30Ω.
13. When static grounding, security grounding, and lightning protection grounding share a common ground, the resistance must be less than 1Ω, and this grounding should be located outside the lightning protection grounding. Furthermore, installing lightning strike sensitive resistors is recommended to ensure safety.
