One, Will wood fiber wallpaper wrinkle?
Wood fiber wallpaper is made from natural fibers obtained from high-quality wood species, processed through special methods. It exhibits excellent tensile and tear resistance, which is 8 to 10 times greater than that of ordinary wallpaper, and its thickness is also 2 to 3 times greater. Therefore, it is less prone to wrinkling. If the purchased wood fiber wallpaper shows wrinkles, it is likely that a fake product has been purchased.
Two. Methods for identifying wood fiber wallpaper.

1. Sniff for odor
Open the wallpaper samples, especially the new ones, and smell them closely. Wood fiber wallpaper emits a faint woody scent, almost undetectable. If there is any odor, it is not wood fiber wallpaper.
2. Burning
This is the most effective method. Wood fiber wallpaper does not produce black smoke or leave behind black ash when burned; if it produces black smoke or has a foul odor, it is likely made of PVC.
3. Conduct water penetration tests
This method can be used to check its breathability. Apply a few drops of water to the back of the wallpaper and observe if any moisture penetrates through the paper. If no moisture is visible, it indicates that the wallpaper does not have breathability and is not suitable for use with wood fiber wallpaper.
4. Wet the surface thoroughly.
To test the wallpaper, soak a small piece in water, then use your fingers to scrape the surface and back of the wallpaper. Observe if it has faded or become soggy. Genuine wallpaper with wood fibers is particularly durable, and due to its dyes made from natural ingredients like flowers and flax, it will not fade or deteriorate when soaked in water.
