I.SPC flooringWhat does it mean?
SPC flooring, also known as click-lock flooring, is a type of flooring that can be directly installed onto a substrate without the need for nails, adhesives, or a subfloor. SPC flooring is primarily composed of calcium powder and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) stabilizers mixed in a specific ratio to create a composite flooring material.

Two, differences between PVC flooring and SPC flooring
1、Different thicknesses:This process requires higher technical proficiency, with a thickness of approximately 4mm. In comparison, PVC flooring typically has a thickness of 2mm.
2、Different installation methods:SPC click flooring is installed by connecting the floorboards together using a click-lock system. This makes installation quick and easy, and does not require the use of adhesives. PVC flooring is even easier to install, as it has an adhesive backing. Simply remove the protective film and apply it directly to the floor.
3、Different paving effects:SPC flooring has high hardness and does not require glue during installation, resulting in excellent surface flatness and installation performance. Unlike PVC flooring, which is more prone to unevenness, SPC flooring provides superior flatness and installation results.
4、Differences in indoor environmental performance:SPC flooring consists of a PUR crystal shield transparent layer, a pure PVC wear-resistant layer, a rich color film layer, an SPC high polymer substrate layer, and a soft, silent, resilient layer. The flooring substrate is composed of mineral rock powder mixed with high polymer resin, which is then formed into a stable substrate layer through high-temperature hot pressing. The raw materials for self-adhesive PVC flooring require less stringent requirements than those for SPC click flooring. Some manufacturers with less strict control may have small amounts of formaldehyde in the adhesive, which poses a potential environmental risk.
5、Different application scopes:SPC flooring is suitable for a wide range of applications, including offices, schools, shopping malls, and homes. Self-adhesive PVC flooring has lower wear resistance, so PVC flooring is not suitable for high-traffic areas.
