I.LockWhat are the different types available?

1、Leaf blade structure locking

These types of locks utilize variously shaped metal plates to create obstacles, thereby achieving the locking function. This structure is commonly used in zinc alloy or alloy locks.

2、Interlocking lock system

Consisting of a main lock and a secondary lock, the main and secondary locks are interlocked. Connecting the two secondary locks secures the main lock; however, the main lock can only be opened after both secondary locks are unlocked and removed.

3、Magnetic locking system

based on the principle of magnetic repulsion, the system utilizes a magnetic locking mechanism. A permanent magnet metal plate, identical in magnetic material to the key, is placed between the locking mechanism and the retaining pin. When a non-keyed magnetic key is smoothly inserted into the locking mechanism and rotated, the key contacts the metal plate, generating a strong repulsive force that easily opens the lock. Additionally, the system employs the principle of magnetic attraction to firmly secure the metal plates, allowing the lock to be opened by a spring.

4、Spring-loaded locking mechanisms

This type of lock utilizes a cylindrical plunger within the lock mechanism to create an obstruction, preventing rotation and achieving a locking effect. The plunger structure is also a common design for locks. One type of lock consists of multiple metal plates stacked together, providing a solid and robust feel, and is referred to as a "multi-layered lock." However, the internal structure of this lock also utilizes a plunger mechanism, thus it falls under the category of plunger-type locks.

5、Number-coded lock structure

Install a sliding mechanism on the lock body, with connected holes and slots for movement and rotation. The number dial and rotating mechanism are connected, and the rotating mechanism features tooth-shaped or cam-shaped metal blades that can rotate and move. When the number is dialed, the lock will automatically open. This type of lock does not require a key.

Lock models can also be classified based on their opening mechanisms (vertical, horizontal, top-opening, and double-opening).

II. Specifications and Models for Iron Padlocks

The lock models and specifications include C, E, SBE, and G types, among others. The MUL-T-LOCK lock features anti-drilling, anti-picking, anti-duplicate key, and anti-cutting protection. The E, SBE, and C types also have water and frost resistance. The E and G types offer local anti-cutting protection. The locks are divided into copper locks, iron locks, and combination locks, with main specifications of 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 75mm.
