One, can plywood be washed with water?
Not recommended for washing.
There are many types of plywood, and common classifications include weather-resistant plywood, boil-water-resistant plywood, water-resistant plywood, moisture-resistant plywood, and non-moisture-resistant plywood. If non-moisture-resistant plywood becomes soiled, it should not be washed with water. If water-resistant plywood becomes soiled, it can be wiped clean with water. However, regardless of whether the material is water-resistant or not, it is recommended not to wash with water unless you know the material properties.
Two. Method for cleaning plywood
1、When cleaning plywood, use absorbent cotton-based materials. This prevents the rough texture of the fabric from scratching the plywood and also prevents loose threads or fibers from entering the gaps in the board.
2、For particleboard furniture covered in dust, simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
3. If furniture surfaces come into contact with alkaline water or stains, they should be promptly cleaned with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, a mild cleaning agent should be used, followed by application of a protective coating.
4. When cleaning the surface of particleboard furniture, avoid using alkaline water and boiling water, as this may damage the finish.
5. When cleaning plywood, avoid prolonged immersion in water, as this can lead to delamination.
