Whether a plywood is environmentally friendly depends entirely on the formaldehyde content in the adhesive. Environmentally friendly adhesives primarily include E0, E1, and E2 grades.
The formaldehyde content in E0 adhesive is low. In CARBP1 stage, the formaldehyde content in E0 adhesive does not exceed 0.5mg/ml. In CARBP2 stage, the formaldehyde content in E0 adhesive does not exceed 0.3mg/l; the formaldehyde content in E1 adhesive does not exceed 1.5mg/l; and the formaldehyde content in E2 adhesive does not exceed 5mg/l. Therefore, if you want to choose environmentally friendly plywood, it is best to select plywood made with E0 adhesive.
