One. Can painted doors be repainted?
It is not recommended to repaint doors with a no-paint finish, as the surface of these doors is covered with a PVC film. Applying paint directly over this film without removing it may lead to cracking of the paint film due to insufficient adhesion.
Additionally, the price of paint-free doors is not high, and the cost of repainting is also considerable. The main reason is that it does not achieve the desired level of quality and durability, making it a more practical option to replace the doors altogether.
Two. Can painted doors be repainted?

It is not recommended to repaint solid-color doors, as the surface of solid-color doors is not a paint film, but rather a PVC film. If you repaint the film, the paint film is likely to be uneven and may also detach. Therefore, it is not recommended to repaint solid-color doors.
III. How to Renovate a Zero-VOC Door
Laminate doors can be renovated using stickers. Here's how:
1. Remove the door and place it horizontally. Then, lay the desired paper on the door, aligning the corners. Place a heavy object in the center to prevent shifting, followed by distributing additional weights to ensure the paper adheres smoothly to the primed door.
2. When applying the sticker, peel back the release layer from one corner, then slowly press the sticker onto the paint-free door. After attaching the corner, pull the release layer along one direction while simultaneously pressing it down.
3. once the stickers are applied, you can use a knife to trim off any excess. If there are air bubbles, use a card to gently push them to the edge of the primed door for removal.
