I.Anti-static floor paintConstruction Notes
1、Plan
Prior to construction, all necessary preparations, including personnel, equipment, and materials, should be completed according to the pre-defined construction process.
2、Floor coating materials
Two-component coatings must be mixed strictly according to the specified ratio. If using a measuring scale, accurately measure the A and B components according to the specified ratio. The mixing and stirring time for two-component coatings is generally 3 minutes. Before mixing, the coating components should be stirred separately. If there are lumps, filter them first.

3、Construction and associated processes
During construction, it is important to ensure clear division of labor and close cooperation among personnel, with orderly loading, dispensing, and application. Prompt application of putty and bubble removal are crucial. Processes should be closely linked to ensure the fluidity of the self-leveling coating is not compromised and to avoid noticeable seams after curing. Careful removal of debris and bubble removal are essential. Personnel responsible for protection and edging should proceed first to avoid affecting the overall application quality. Self-leveling coatings primarily rely on maintaining their fluidity to ensure uniform thickness and consistent appearance, minimizing seams. It is important to carefully plan and execute construction details to achieve this.
4、Boundary Treatment
The construction boundary should be handled promptly, and a designated person should be assigned to monitor the site after completion to prevent damage. It is best to achieve a successful outcome in a single application, and minimize the need for repairs.
5、Resistance testing and grounding
① After the copper mesh layout and conductive coating are completed, the conductive performance must be tested.
② After completion of each section and the overall project, resistance testing must be performed using a megohm meter, including surface electrode resistance and grounding resistance. Two test points are required for every 100 m², and the measurement results must be accurately recorded and presented in a chart. After completion, the project can be inspected by a qualified third party. If the test results meet the requirements, the project is considered complete.
What are the construction requirements for anti-static floor coatings?
1. Addressing unevenness on the substrate: Use abrasive methods to treat the substrate. For new floors, ensure the floor dries naturally. When renovating existing floors, verify the compatibility of the existing floor coating.
2、Remove contaminants and loose layers: Carefully clean the surface layer of any building adhesives and coatings, as well as any loose layers. Thoroughly sand the substrate to remove any surface irregularities. Remove all debris from the substrate.
3. The construction environment must have a humidity level above 5°C and a relative humidity below 85% to ensure proper application. If these conditions are not met, special treatment must be performed before construction to avoid various issues.
4、Construction personnel must meticulously document the construction site conditions, including time, humidity, duration of work, surface preparation, and material usage, to facilitate future comparison and evaluation.
5、Floor paints are created by mixing various paint materials in specific proportions. Therefore, after mixing, it is essential to thoroughly mix all the paint within the container.
6、It is recommended to use pre-mixed floor paints, as these produce higher quality results. Additionally, it is advisable to use them within 4 hours.
7、When applying anti-static floor paint, it is strictly prohibited to use open flames on site, and proper ventilation and safety measures must be taken to prevent accidents.
