2. A small amount of cleaning paste can be applied with a toothbrush to effectively remove dirt from the gaps between marble tiles. The joints between the tiles can be cleaned periodically with cleaning paste, and then a waterproof agent can be applied to the gaps to prevent the growth of mold.
3. Rust can be removed by washing with a 2% solution of oxalic acid, followed by rinsing with clean water. Alternatively, crush 3-4 vitamin C tablets into a powder and sprinkle it onto the faux marble tiles, then scrub with water to remove rust stains. For stubborn rust stains, mix 10% solutions of oxalic acid and citric acid with water and apply to the affected area, then scrub with concentrated salt water. If fresh lemons are available, squeeze the juice and apply it to the rust stains, rubbing with your hand repeatedly until the stains are removed. Then, rinse with soapy water.
4. For stains caused by tea, fruit, coffee, beer, ice cream, sauces, oils, and inks, use sodium hydroxide or a bleaching agent to slightly soak the stained area, then wipe dry. For oily stains, you can also apply paper or tissue to the marble or ceramic tile, then spray with a cleaning agent and let it sit for a while, then peel it off like a mask. The oil stains will be attached, and then wipe clean with a damp cloth.
