One. Can wooden boards be used to mount a television?
Yes.
If the wooden board is directly fixed to the brick wall, it can meet the requirements of mounting a 49-inch TV on both the wooden board and the gypsum board.
Plywood, also known as CDX plywood or wood plywood, is a type of plywood produced by bonding or using a hollow core (such as a honeycomb structure) made of wood strips. It consists of two or more layers of plywood bonded together, which are then compressed to form a special plywood. Plywood has excellent screw-holding capacity, high strength, and is rigid, with good sound absorption, insulation, and stability. It is also easy to process and has a low moisture content, making it suitable for mounting televisions.
Two. How to mount a TV on a wooden board.
1. First, install the TV mount on the background wall, aligning it with the screw holes on the mount. Then, use a 10mm or 12mm impact drill to create holes in the background wall, inserting wood dowels or plastic expansion sleeves into the holes. Finally, secure the TV mount with 5cm long wood screws.
2. Directly attach the TV mount to the board using 3cm wood screws. However, each screw hole on the mount will require a screw fixing.
