1.Anti-mold wall coveringIs it truly mold-resistant?
Anti-mold fabric is a fiber fabric that has been specially processed to have good breathability and excellent anti-mold properties. It is waterproof, stain-resistant, mold-resistant, and oil-resistant, and is not prone to mold or rot. Seamless wall fabrics release moisture from the walls through tiny pores, preventing mold and detachment, and are durable.

Two. Why does anti-mold wallpaper still develop mold?
Mold growth on wall coverings requires four key factors: abundant nutrients, moisture, mold, and suitable temperature. Wall coverings are typically made of non-woven fabric, which inherently does not mold. However, due to the high absorbency of non-woven fabric, prolonged exposure to high humidity environments, such as walls near bathrooms or balconies, can lead to moisture penetration and subsequent mold growth. Additionally, the following situations can also cause wall coverings to mold:
1、The moisture content of the wall is too high.
In some projects with tight deadlines, the wall surface was not fully cured, and the subsequent exposure to high temperatures and humidity conditions led to mold growth on the wall covering.
2、High humidity
Fabric wall coverings are susceptible to absorbing moisture from the air. Prolonged exposure to humid conditions can cause the fabric to absorb water vapor, and dust and bacteria can accumulate on the surface, leading to mold growth.
3、Stains on the wall covering surface.
The adhesive used for wall covering, if not promptly cleaned up after application, can become a breeding ground for mold. Similarly, dust, dirt, and other contaminants that accumulate on the wall covering surface can also promote mold growth when exposed to moisture.
