Industrial sliding doors are suitable for common industrial facilities, steel frame warehouses, transformer rooms, and other auxiliary buildings where frequent passage of vehicles or personnel is required. These doors consist of multiple door panels and are driven by a motor system. A spring or counterweight system ensures the balance of the door. So, how should industrial sliding doors be installed?
1. Position the industrial sliding door leaf vertically within the opening, adjusting each component to the required dimensions. Ensure the door leaf remains vertical.
2. Initially weld the upper and lower door hinges to the pre-embedded components and the door leaf flanges. During installation, ensure that the upper and lower door hinges are aligned vertically. Otherwise, the resistance to opening and closing the door will increase, and the door hinges may be damaged.
3. After the initial spot welding, quickly and manually open and close the door leaf, ensuring that it can be rotated freely without obstruction, while maintaining stability to prevent it from tilting. This allows for secure welding of the door hinges.
4. Install the motor for the industrial sliding door. Install the sliding door machine on a suitable location and connect the linkage of the sliding door machine to the door leaf. Install the electrical pins on the edge of the door leaf and adjust them until the door leaf can be locked after opening the door.
5. According to the dimensional requirements for the door type, properly install the door frame center gap and seal the perimeter with sealing strips, ensuring that the door frame closure creates a sealed gap.
6. Install electrical control boxes. Electrical control boxes for industrial sliding doors should be installed in easily accessible indoor locations to facilitate maintenance. Ensure that the installation of the sliding door opener and electric staple gun complies with electrical installation regulations. Properly connect the protective grounding wire to ensure the safety of the equipment and personnel.
7. Inspect each part and, upon confirmation of compliance, connect the power and activate the control button. Adjust repeatedly until the door sash is properly positioned and the machine can stop running.
Two. What are the key installation points for industrial sliding doors?
1、Do not install directly. Before installation, verify that the hinges and door/window frame, and door leaf, are compatible. Check that the hinge slots and the height, width, and thickness of the hinges match. Also, ensure that the hinges and any associated screws or fasteners are compatible. only proceed with installation after confirming that everything is correct.
2、The connection method for hinges should be compatible with the materials of the frame and door, such as hinges used for steel frames and wooden doors, where one side is welded to the steel frame and the other side is fixed with wooden screws to the wooden door.
3. When the two leaves of a hinge are asymmetrical, it is necessary to identify which leaf should be connected to the fan and which leaf should be connected to the door and window frame. The side connected to the third section of the axis should be fixed to the frame, and the side connected to the first and second sections of the axis should be fixed to the frame.
4. During installation, ensure that the hinges of the same door/window sash are aligned vertically to prevent the sash from warping or lifting.
