2. When cleaning, pay attention to brushing horizontally until the new, clean filter surface is exposed. Do not continue to scrub forcefully. This will damage the filter and shorten its lifespan.
3. Generally, if the water dispenser is not used for three days, it needs to be flushed. It is essential to flush for 2-5 minutes until all standing water is removed. Do not operate the water dispenser directly after prolonged periods of inactivity.
4. When cleaning the filter, first, avoid allowing tap water to flow into the filter's threaded outlet, as this can contaminate the filter's interior. Second, use clean water for cleaning, and be sure to wash your hands thoroughly before re-installing the filter.
5. The method for cleaning activated carbon within the filter is to remove the activated carbon, then wash it with water. For granular activated carbon, it needs to be immersed in dilute hydrochloric acid for four hours, followed by cleaning, to restore its activity.
