One. Method for manufacturing glass wood doors
Doors with glass panels offer improved natural light and enhanced aesthetics compared to ordinary wooden doors. As a result, many modern homes are opting for these stylish doors, which provide a more visually appealing look.
Regardless of whether it's an eco-friendly door, a painted door, a composite wood door, or another type of wooden door, the installation methods for glass generally fall into two categories: the first involves pre-drilling a glass slot on the wooden door, and then inserting and securing the glass into the pre-drilled slot after the entire wooden door is complete. The advantages of this method include: easy installation and replacement. If the glass is damaged during use, individuals with some DIY skills can easily replace it. The disadvantages are: this method typically uses smaller glass sizes, such as a long strip of glass, or is only suitable for doors where glass is installed in the upper portion.
The second method involves installing the entire door frame first, followed by the glass. This method emphasizes proper glass sealing, and while the material consumption is relatively low, it requires more time and experience, particularly during the glass installation process, to achieve a visually appealing and durable result.Advantages: No specific requirements for the shape or size of the glass.Disadvantages: Installation and subsequent maintenance require technical expertise, which can also increase the overall cost.

Two. Installation method for fashionable glass and wood doors
1、Marking and marking out
Perform consistent stringing and positioning according to design and construction drawings, establishing the positioning lines for the stylish glass solid wood door. Simultaneously, determine the door frame location. Inject glass sealant into the gaps on both sides of the top limit slot and the bottom support slot, as well as the joint between the glass and the frame and column, using tools to remove excess sealant.
2、Install top limit groove on frame
The width of the slot should be between two and four millimeters greater than the glass thickness, and the depth should be between ten and twenty millimeters. When installing, initially use the provided wire to pull out two metal trim strips along the edge of the slot. Then, install the top slot of the door frame according to the edge line. Adjust the slot depth within the slot using the adhesive pad.
3、Install the wooden base support for metal finishes.
Secure the timber frame to the ground using adhesive, and attach the metal trim panel to the timber. If using aluminum square tubes, they can be fixed to the frame and columns with aluminum corner brackets, or fixed to the timber bricks embedded in the ground with wooden screws.
4、Install vertical door frames
Attach the center support studs to the door frame, then use plywood to define the shape and position of the door frame posts. Apply a metal decorative finish. When applying the decorative finish, position the decorative material along the seam between the door frame and the glass panel, on both sides of the door opening.
5、Install glass
Use a vacuum pump to firmly press the thick glass against the frame, then lift and position the glass in its final location. First, insert the upper edge of the glass into the top of the door frame's recess, and then place the lower edge of the glass onto the bottom rail. Attach small wooden strips to the inside and outside of the bottom rail to hold the glass in place. Apply adhesive to the wooden strips and attach the decorative metal finish to the strips. This completes the installation of a beautiful and stylish glass and wood door.
