PP fittings are various components used for connecting PP pipe materials, typically including PP flanges, PP elbows, PP tees, PP reducers, PP plugs, PP bends, and other PP fittings.
Two. Installation method for PP pipe fittings
1、Before bonding pipes and fittings, use a dry cloth to clean the inner and outer sides of the socket and fitting. If the surface is contaminated with oil, clean it with acetone.
2、The cross-sections of pipes should be smooth, perpendicular to the pipe axis, and have chamfers. Before bonding, clearly mark the insertion lines and perform a test insertion. The test insertion should only extend to 1/3～1/2 of the predetermined depth. It is strictly prohibited to use bonding methods if the gaps are too large.
3. When applying the adhesive, first apply it to the inside of the recess and then to the outside of the slot. When applying to the recess, apply an appropriate amount evenly along the axis, from inside to outside, without any overspraying or under-application, approximately 200g/㎡.
4、After applying the adhesive, maintain the applied force for at least 1 minute to ensure the correct alignment and position of the joint.
5、After bonding, promptly wipe away any excess adhesive, and avoid applying any pressure or loading during the curing period.
6. Adhesives should not be applied in rainy or wet conditions, and should not be used at temperatures below 5°C.
7. Connection Procedure: Preparation → Surface Cleaning → Trial Fitting → Application of Adhesive → Bonding → Curing.
