II. How to replace a silent interior door lock
Indoor Silent Door Lock Disassembly:
1、 First, use a screwdriver to loosen and remove the screws on the top of the door lock. Then, remove the door handle and other components attached to the lock.
2. After removing all components, you will see a circular-shaped object, which is the door lock. Simply remove this object.
Installation of silent interior door locks:
1、Install the door lock in its original position. When installing, ensure the door lock is properly aligned, and then tighten the two self-tapping screws. Insert the spindle into the hole, and after installing the external handle components, tighten the two self-tapping screws.
2. Install the inner handle component of the lock, then align it and tighten the two self-tapping screws. Insert the lock body into the lock hole, ensuring it is inserted from the inner handle side.
3. Insert M5 self-tapping screws into the lock head panel holes. Ensure the screws are properly aligned with the single-directional lock head and threads before tightening.
