II. Installation Method for Aluminum Alloy Folding Doors
1、Determine the location
If used for kitchen doors or bathroom doors, it should be installed in the center of the door frame. If used as a living room divider, it is necessary to determine the exact location, leave sufficient space, measure the straight length, and then confirm that the track length is correct. If the track is long, measure the usable length with a ruler, make a mark, and use a metal saw to cut off the excess portion. Be careful not to let metal shavings fall into the track, as this could affect the door's movement.
2、Install the folding door
1. Grasp the sliding rail and insert the folded door into the rail while it is bundled.2. Push the bundled door to the center of the rail to facilitate installation and prevent it from sliding off during installation.
3、Fixation
Before fixing, ensure the handle's orientation is correct, whether you prefer to pull it left or right. once confirmed, begin installing the track, following the order of installing the center first, then the sides. Use a hammer drill to screw the track and frame/wall, as the frame and wall are relatively thick, making it difficult to screw directly. Therefore, utilize the power of a hammer drill. After installing the screws, untie the ropes securing the door.
4、Apply adhesive tape
Open the folding door and, based on the position of the magnets on the door, determine the location for installing the magnetic strips on the wall or door frame. once the location for each magnetic strip is determined, drill holes using a hammer drill, approximately 4 centimeters deep, and then insert the adhesive pads into the holes, one by one.
5、Attach the magnetic plates
Re-install the folding door in the center position. Pick up the magnetic plate and align the holes with the center of the magnetic socket. Use a screwdriver to tighten the screws into the magnetic socket until the magnetic plate is secured. Repeat this process for all magnetic plates. once all magnetic plates are secured, open the folding door and attach the side without the handle to the magnetic plates. This completes the installation of the folding door.
