II. Principle and Working Process of Automatic Doors
Automatic doors can open and close automatically, and their principle is to use sensors to detect whether someone is approaching, then send a signal to the controller to control the automatic door. Depending on the type of sensor, the working principle of automatic doors can be divided into two types:
1、Microwave-activated automatic door
This system utilizes microwave radar as the signal source. When the radar detects a displacement of an object, it sends a contact signal, which is then processed by a controller to drive a motor, thereby opening the automatic door.
2、Automatic door with infrared sensors
The signal source for this automatic door is an infrared sensor, which emits infrared light with a specific wavelength of approximately 10UM. Utilizing the principle of infrared reflection, when a living object is within the sensor's scanning range, the infrared light is reflected back, received by the receiving module, processed by a circuit or microcontroller, and transmitted as a contact signal. This signal is then sent to the motor, which drives the motor, causing the automatic door to open, regardless of whether a person is moving.
