One、How to install fire door closer
1. First, place the main component, which has no left or right orientation, horizontally, and adjust the speed control valve to the left.
2. Next, position the connecting rod at a 45-degree angle relative to the main body.
3. Then, insert it into the axle and secure it with screws.
4、Please ensure that the connecting rod is oriented upwards, and the adjustment valve is positioned to the left. Then, fix the main component to the door frame.
5. Finally, install the sliding mechanism and then connect the wiring.
Two. Installation location for fire door closers
1、Install the door closer on the hinge side, the side of the door that opens. When installed this way, the arm of the door closer extends outward, forming an approximately 90-degree angle with the door frame.
2. The automatic door closer is installed on the side of the door where the latch is located, opposite the hinge side. Typically, an additional bracket provided with the closer is mounted on an arm parallel to the door frame. This installation method is commonly used for inward-swinging doors where it is undesirable to install the automatic door closer on the exterior side.
3. The closing mechanism of the fire door is installed with the body facing downwards, instead of above the door, and is positioned on the opposite side of the hinges. This installation method can also be used for outward-opening doors, especially those with narrow upper edges and insufficient space to accommodate the closing mechanism body.
