One. What is a zero-VOC fire-resistant door?
The no-paint fire-resistant door features a melamine veneer on the door leaf surface, while the internal material is consistent with that of standard wooden fire-resistant doors.
The fire-resistant door frame is constructed with a composite structure of high-quality wood and fire-resistant board. A layer of fire-resistant board with a thickness of 12mm is added to the fire-facing side of the wood. It can also be made with coated steel board and offers optional wood grain decorative effects. The door frame has fire-resistant and smoke-proof expansion seals at all contact points with the door leaf, which can expand to prevent the passage of lethal smoke at critical moments.

The non-painted fire-resistant door slab features a unique sandwich structure, incorporating fire-resistant magnesium board between a fire-resistant wooden frame and a decorative surface layer. The wooden frame is filled with environmentally friendly perlite fire-resistant material. This design allows the door slab to withstand flames up to 1000°C. The high-density board with melamine surface provides high strength and scratch resistance, suitable for harsh construction environments. Optional wood-grain finish offers good decorative effects.
II. Installation Construction Process for No-Coat Fireproof Doors
Coating-free fireproof door installation construction process sequence: door frame, door leaf, paint, and hardware.
1、Recommended installation sequence: first install the door frame, then the door leaf, and finally the hardware. After the door frame is installed and inspected, measure the required dimensions for the door leaf. Then, the door leaf and hardware are installed. Before installing the door frame, if the wood has any defects within the specified range, such as knots or large insect holes, fill them with wood plugs of the same species.
2. When installing door frames, ensure that the joints between protruding parts and the frame and the wall are tight. When fixing the door frame to the wall, use a hammer to drill 12mm holes in the top, middle, and bottom of the wall, insert wooden dowels, and then secure with nails. The bottom corners of the door frame should be embedded in the ground by 3-5 cm.
3. During door panel installation, check the flatness of the door panel and ensure it is tightly fitted to the frame. Also, inspect the door frame for any signs of warping or distortion.
4、Painting application process: Priming, sanding, priming, sanding, applying the first coat of paint, touch-up, sanding, and applying the final coat.
5、Hardware Installation: Remove and reinstall hinges on the fire door according to the following specifications: install one hinge at a distance of 10cm from the bottom of the door leaf, and another hinge at a distance of 15cm from the bottom of the door leaf. Secure all hinges with wood screws, and do not use nails. First, tap the screw into the substrate to a depth of 1/3, then tighten. Do not fully insert the screws. The hinges should have grooves on both sides, with the grooves aligned. The hinges should also be painted with different colors. The door handle should be located below the midpoint of the door height. The distance from the door handle to the ground should be 0.9-1.05m (do not install the door lock at the junction between the door leaf and the frame). All small hardware should be installed completely, in a suitable location, and securely fixed.
6、Installation of No-Paint Fireproof Doors Completed: Due to the special nature of no-paint fireproof doors, to ensure product quality, in addition to the framing and door installation, which are executed according to the site progress, the hardware and paint must be installed only after the completion of site construction, including plumbing, electrical, and elevator work. After this, our company is authorized to proceed with the installation work until the entire project is completed.
