One、What are the accessories for fire doors
1、Fire-resistant lock
Fireproof locks are primarily used on fire doors. They are categorized into standard fireproof locks and fire escape locks. Standard fireproof locks mainly serve the purpose of opening and locking, while fire escape locks are used in emergency escape passages to ensure the safety of people. The main difference between the two is whether they have a key or not.
2、Fire-resistant hinges

Fire hinges are components that connect a door and its frame, primarily serving to support the door. They are typically divided into concealed hinges and exposed hinges. Concealed hinges are suitable for outward-opening doors, while exposed hinges are suitable for inward-opening doors. Typically, three fire hinges are installed per fire door.
3、Fire-resistant fasteners
Fire-rated hinges are simple components used to prevent doors from opening in fire-rated doors. They are typically made of metal and can help contain a fire by keeping the door closed. However, according to fire safety regulations, fire-rated doors must remain closed during business hours in public places, but the hinges must be open.
4、Fire-resistant door closer
A device installed on the upper part of a swing door or integrated into the door itself, consisting of a metal spring and a hydraulic damper. Its function is to ensure that the door remains in a closed state, preventing the passage of instantaneous fire. It is divided into two types: a stay-open door closer and a stay-closed door closer.
5、Sequencer
Fire door controllers are locking mechanisms installed on the locking axis and sub-axis, which have the function of sequentially closing doors during fire alarm activation. This allows doors to close smoothly. They are typically installed on fire doors in evacuation corridors, stairwells, and anterooms.
II. Fire-resistant door hardware technical requirements
1、Fire-resistant locking technology requirements
The locks for fire doors should be fire-rated locks. In the locking mechanism of the door leaf, all fire-rated locks should have a handle or lever mechanism, and circular or spherical knobs should not be used as replacements (except for special areas such as pipe well doors). The fire-rated locks should be products that have passed inspection and approval by a recognized testing agency, and their fire resistance should comply with the requirements in Appendix A.
2、Fire-resistant hingesTechnical Requirements
The thickness of the hinge/leaf plate for fire-resistant doors shall not be less than 3 mm, and its fire resistance performance shall comply with the requirements specified in Appendix B.
3、Fire-resistant door control devicesTechnical Requirements
Fire doors should be equipped with fire door closers, or with automatic closing devices that ensure the doors close in the event of a fire (except for specific areas, such as manholes). Fire door closers must be products that have passed inspection and certification by a nationally recognized and authorized testing agency, and their performance must comply with the requirements of GA 93. Automatic closing devices for doors should also be products that have passed inspection and certification by a nationally recognized and authorized testing agency.
4、Fire-resistant arresterTechnical Requirements
Doors with multiple leaves should be equipped with closers (except for specific areas) when combined with overlapping or sealing members. The fire resistance performance of these doors should comply with the requirements specified in Appendix C.
5、Fire-resistant fastenersTechnical Requirements
Employing steel fire-resistant fasteners, they should be installed on the door leaf of double or multiple-leaf doors where one side is fixed (as required). Their fire resistance performance should comply with the requirements specified in Appendix D.
6、Seam boardTechnical Requirements
For double-leaf fire doors with flat or beveled edges, it is recommended to install a closure board. The closure board should be securely connected to the door leaf. The closure board should not impede the normal opening and closing of the door leaf.
7、Fire-resistant sealing materialsTechnical Requirements
Fire-resistant door frames and door leaves, as well as the gaps between door leaves and door frames, should be filled with fire-resistant sealing materials. These sealing materials must be products that have passed inspection and approval by a national recognized testing agency, and their performance must comply with the requirements of GB 16807.
