Two. What is the appropriate number of mesh for stainless steel screens?

For household mosquito screens made of stainless steel mesh, a mesh size of 20 is generally sufficient. The mesh size refers to the number of holes in a 25mm x 25mm square of the mesh. Therefore, a larger mesh size indicates larger holes and a smaller area per hole, which is commonly referred to as finer mesh. Conversely, a smaller mesh size indicates smaller holes and a larger area per hole.
Three. How to check the mesh size of stainless steel window screen.
The tools we will use are a mesh gauge, also known as a weave density gauge. This is primarily used for measuring the mesh count of various fabrics. Mesh gauges come in both glass plate and plastic sheet formats. The measurement method is as follows: When measuring, ensure the fabric is in a clear state or placed on a viewing platform. Place the mesh gauge on the fabric and slowly move it across the fabric, aligning the vertical lines on the mesh gauge with the fabric's warp or weft threads. At this point, due to the overlapping of the fabric's warp and weft threads with the vertical lines on the mesh gauge, a triangular pattern will form on the mesh gauge. The corresponding numerical scale on the mesh gauge, pointing to the diagonal of the triangular pattern, represents the mesh count (inches or centimeters) of the fabric.
