1. Steps for replacing the pure water machine filter cartridge
Step 1: Close the inlet valve. Ensure the handle is perpendicular to the water pipe when closed.
Step 2: Close the pressure tank valve. The handle should be in a perpendicular position to the water pipe when closed.
Step 3: Open the clean water tap and allow it to drain any remaining water from the machine (approximately 10 minutes).
Step 4: Turn off the power, unplug the power cord, and wait for the machine to stop.
Step 5: Remove the faucet water pipe, pressure tank water pipe, and waste water pipe sequentially. After removing the pipes, there may still be residual water flow. Use a clean cloth to wipe away the remaining water.
Step six: Remove the pure water machine and place it flat on the table. Open the water filter cover and clearly identify the position of the filter cartridge. Use the appropriate wrench to open the filter bucket cover sequentially.
Step 7: After opening, remove and replace the old filter cartridge in sequence (the RO membrane requires forceful removal using pliers).
Step 8: After installation is complete, connect the water pipe. If there is a retaining clip, please insert it. Then, tighten the filter bucket lid, the top cover, and return the water pump to its original position. Connect the water pipe and power cord, and turn on the water inlet valve.
Step 9: Allow approximately 20 seconds for air to escape, then turn on the water tap. After a few seconds, the water will flow freely for 10 minutes to activate the filter and extend its lifespan. This also allows any residual activated carbon powder to flush out, resulting in slightly darker water, which will then clear.
Step 10: Turn off the clean water tap. The filter replacement is complete. Wipe the water filter and surrounding areas with a cloth to remove any spilled water.
